We do not ask for Instagram login
StorySaver does not ask you to create an account. It does not ask for your Instagram password, email, or login code.
The downloader is for public Instagram links. If a website asks for your password to download public stories, treat that as a serious warning sign.
Basic site and device information
Like most websites, StorySaver may receive basic technical details such as browser type, device type, visited pages, and error or performance signals.
This information helps us understand whether the site works properly on iPhone, Android, desktop browsers, and tablets.
Analytics, cookies, and future advertising
StorySaver uses Google Analytics to understand page visits, device categories, approximate location, interactions, and technical performance. Google may set or read cookies and similar identifiers under its own privacy terms. We use this information in aggregate to maintain and improve the site.
If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads where permitted. Required consent choices will be presented to visitors in regions where they apply. You can also control cookies through your browser and Google's advertising settings.
Retention, sharing, and your choices
We do not sell Instagram passwords or account credentials because we do not request them. Service providers may process limited technical data only to provide hosting, analytics, security, communications, or advertising services.
You may ask a privacy question or request review of information you previously sent through support by emailing hello@storysaver.site. Some limited records may be retained where reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, or resolving a request.
Links and public content you submit
When you paste an Instagram link or username, StorySaver uses it to look for public media. The tool needs that link to show the available story or highlight preview.
We do not ask you to upload private media. Content availability can change when a story expires, a creator deletes it, or an account becomes private.
